Employees and volunteers working in positions deemed to have ongoing, unsupervised contact with minors in diocesan parishes and schools must first complete the Child Protection Requirements:

Complete an EAPPS Application

Submit to a criminal background screening

Complete Safe and Sacred online training

Read the Code of Ethics and Behavior for Adults who Minister with Minors in the Diocese of Baton Rouge/sign the acknowledgement form

Each parish and school in the Diocese of Baton Rouge has an appointed Child Protection Site Coordinator.  Please submit all required documentation to the Child Protection Site Coordinator of the parish or school in which you wish to serve.
